Relieve Child Suffering with Family Presence
Collaboration with Ronald McDonald House of Charity
On November 20, 2014, the RMHC Foundation established the first Ronald McDonald House located at Jalan Kana Lestari J.24, Lebak Lestari, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta. The land of 250m2 was generously donated by someone who is very concerned about the welfare of many children and their families. It was the fundamental reason for the formation of this temporary home, the Ronald McDonald House. Not only the land, but the construction, the house, and its contents were also mainly donations from generous donors.
This shelter is intended for families and children with health problems who are undergoing treatment at the Fatmawati Hospital. Families and pediatric patients are expected to feel at home.
This two-story building is equipped with a living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, playroom and library, and 8 bedrooms with mattresses provided by Duta Abadi Primantara (DAP). In addition, the RMHC foundation also provides transportation to and from the Fatmawati Hospital for children and their families.
DAP is proud to be part of this project and will continue to support the next similar program.
