OGAWA OmKnee 2 Presents Reflexology And Relaxation At Home
The urban communities lifestyle in big cities like Jakarta tends to be dynamic, busy and fast. Overloaded daily activities, from work in the office to the bustle of house work, often lead to physical, mind, and spirit fatique. As a result, visiting the wellness center for massage and relaxation has become a regular agenda.
Unfortunately since the Covid-19 Pandemic struck, the Government implemented the Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB), the Transitional PSBB and the recent New Normal Era in Jakarta to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 Virus. The restrictions also encourage people to reduce activities outside their home, including going to the wellness center, as relaxation and reflexology has become a primary need for some people.
Realizing the situation, Ogawa introduced its newest product, Omknee 2, the latest generation massage tool with many features and astonishing design, that will provide maximum relaxation to the hands and feet. Omknee 2 is the first massage tool in the world that can be separated into two parts, the Foot Massage Unit and the Versatile Massage Unit (multifunctional massage section) that can be used simultaneously.
The launch of Omknee 2 in Indonesia is done virtually via Instagram Live and is guided by MC Becky Tumewu at the Ogawa Experience Center, Plaza Indonesia Jakarta, on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
PT Duta Abadi Primantara's Head of Business Development, Timothy Purnomo explained that the ergonomic and modern design of Omknee 2 allows relaxation activities to be carried out at home without having to take up much space. Another advantage of Omknee 2 is that it has two different massage areas and is designed for sharing, so it can be used with family or loved ones.
"The feet are the main support of our entire body. The load of the foot every day is quite a lot, especially the soles of the feet with many acupuncture points that relate to every organ function of the body, as well as the hands. People who occasionally does reflexology and relaxation certainly want to feel calm and comfortable. Especially when it can be done casually with family or partner, it would be more fun, "said Timothy.
The focus of the Omknee 2 massage system is on the feet soles, shins, calves, knees and arms. In addition, the technology of silicone massage roller and air bags on Omknee 2 is programmed according to the momentum of the hand movements and human power, so as to be able to provide many kinds of massages as natural as possible. Omknee 2 is also equipped with heat therapy so that the body part that is massaged will become more relaxed as the blood flow becomes more fluent, reducing the possibility of varicose veins and cellulite.
Timothy considered Indonesia as a potential market because of the tradition of massage that has been passed down for a long time. In addition, the Indonesian market is quite large. Based on 2015 Central Bureau of Statistics data, there are approximately 1,236 spa businesses spread throughout Indonesia, in which 89.97% of them offer massage or reflexology services. For this very reason, Timothy is certain that the latest products from Ogawa can be well received by the public.
"We want Indonesian people to be more and more fit and healthier as they have time for relaxation. Relaxation is one way to increase antibodies, especially during the pandemic. Hopefully the presence of Omknee 2 will able to answer the need for relaxation through reflexology, during cramped activities, "added Timothy.
Omknee 2 will officially be circulating in the Indonesian market starting July 23, 2020 at the price of Rp12.5 million. For the initial stage, the distribution of this latest product will be more focused in Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan.
